It suuure has! Spring brought some temperatures of summer with it lately too. As mentioned in my last post, I've been taking tons of outdoor photos lately and have more to share. It's been incredibly gorgeous outside so we've been out on walks more and I've been able to have fun soaking up the sunshine.
I also have some fun spring inspiration in store for you in this post!

no matter how long the winter, spring is sure to follow

These next few look more summery really - it was 80 degrees that day!
I think the warm tones make them look dreamy.

We also took in the fresh new growth of plants - that's one of the beauties of the midwest - the hard freezes and dormant winter season, followed by the new life of spring. It's pretty amazing when you think about it.

Such a beautiful quote and spring just around the corner!!

Such lovely photos you have taken. Spring is such a motivating time of the year. Seeing the brown and dead burst into green and new life is just a reminder that all things in life go through stages of death and rebirth. May this Spring bring you and Nick a "rebirth" of sorts, whatever that may be for you. As Pastor Wickwire mentioned in this last Sunday's sermon, (and I paraphrase) "thank God for the strong wind trying to push me back and keep me down, for it is that wind that is making me stronger." God bless you guys! I love and miss you and your bright spirit!

Denise, thank you for the compliment! I agree that spring is an encouraging time of year - new growth and new beginnings. I'm telling myself this is the time of rebirth and healing from any harsh winter conditions (lots of metaphors here aren't there?:)) and budding trees, flowers, and singing birds. It's quite beautiful. I appreciate your quote from Pastor Wickwire as well - it's true, we have to allow ourselves to grow as we are pushed down in life. Challenges produce growth (and growing pains), but we're stronger because of them. I love you and miss you too! I think of you often - update me on how things are going for you. Talk to you soon!
