I took the plunge this weekend and cut off my hair :) Well, most of it anyway. I had been growing my hair out to be long for the wedding and had told myself I'd finally cut it off after the wedding. Well we're about 9 months after the wedding and I just now held to my vision. But it's the perfect timing with summer upon us (95 degrees here today!).
I also have to say that I've never had hair this short in my life (okay... maybe at age 3...) so it's quite the change for me. But I walked out of the salon Saturday feeling like a new and free woman. I'm definitely still adjusting to the new cut and style, but I love it and enjoy experimenting with new ways I can wear my hair now. Nick has been supportive about my hair journey this weekend ;) he's listened to me try to describe to him how big of a change it is, told me how good it looks when I couldn't get it to look "right" and has been learning more about the hair of a woman and the products/gizmos needed to style it.
